If I have five oranges in one hand, and four in the other, what do I have?
Think carefully about this one....

Anne Frank once said, 'the final forming of a person's character lies in their own hands..' very wise words from a girl trapped in an attic, dont you think?

At this very moment.... a woman you passed on the street this arvo might be at home, she might be cooking dinner, or maybe relaxing in front of Secret Life. To her, at this very moment, you mean nothing, just as this afternoon, right up until this very moment, she meant nothing to you. But now, maybe she does. As a person, as complicated and intricate as you are; as one of humanity. Now, because you know her, to be, as you be, she matters to you. And that, my friends, is why, when walking down Delaware, we always say hello.

The way I see it, if you want the rainbow, you gotta put up with the rain - Dolly Parton.

there are some questions that do not ask for answers. one may ask, "why" and receive the simple answer, "why not". If only it were so. i feel, at present, that answers are far too rigid for imagination to contend with. Fantasy all the way, I say.

sometimes when i don't have anything of great import to be doing, i'll just sit and cogitate the way things are, mulling over every little aspect of my life until i either bore myself silly or get so depressed that i have to go and eat choc-chip biscuits covered in peanut butter. so my informed opinion is that we shouldn't waste our time on this earth thinking about why things are so, or what has happened and what could someday occur, but rather, we should do, act, and just be .... after all, it was anne frank who said "i don't think of all the misery, but of all the beauty that remains". (i have a thing for anne frank ... not that kind of thing.)

I like long walks, especially when they are taken by people who annoy me - Oscar Wilde

Can you imagine what I would do if I could do all I can?
