In 1992 Emily began her formal education at Santa Maria Del Monte. Under the guidance of Mrs Rumore, Em developed in to a charming and angelic little lady and made many friends. Here, in this revealing extract from a story written in kindergarten by Jenny Lloyd, the wonder of Emily's nature at this time is shown:

...when i went to school, Emily was the first friend I met....

As the years went by, Ms Gavan become a fiery and independant young woman. When she was ready for high school she made the journey across the Boulevarde and was welcomed in to the house of Gunagulla. It was at Santa that she met her current good buddies Laura and Bridget, and further enhanced her friendships with Sarah, Rachel and Jenny.

Today, Emily is a beautiful woman who never ceases to inspire and make others feel loved. Her gifts of laughter, happiness and humour are admired by all and make Gav the wonderful girl we all know and love.
